Ronan/ Polson Ambualnce Service teaches CPR under the guidelines of the American Heart Association.  

Where: Our instructors are flexible and willing to work together with you to set up
           a course.  We provide courses in Polson, Ronan or pre-arranged off site   
           locations.

Heartsaver CPR Certification Course
 

Description of Program

This CPR course is for the layperson to learn CPR and AED use. This course teaches lay rescuers how to recognize and treat life-threatening emergencies with adult, child, and infant victims.

American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid Certification Course
 

Description of Program

The Heartsaver First Aid course provides training in basic first-aid procedures -- including the first-aid skills recommended by OSHA -- in a format that can be delivered in a single day. It also offers elective modules in environmental emergencies.

Its highly effective video-based-instruction format enables students to experience case-based scenarios in a realistic setting. Instructors introduce a topic, then show a video segment to present cases for discussion or to demonstrate a particular skill. Students then practice the skill in small groups.

 

The Heartsaver First Aid course is specially designed to train anyone who might be the first to respond in the workplace or community, and can be tailored to address the needs of a specific workplace or group of employees.

Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider CPR Certification Course
 

Description of Program

This course is for credentialed healthcare providers, covering core material such as adult and pediatric CPR (including two-rescuer scenarios and use of the bag-valve mask), foreign-body airway obstruction, and automated external defibrillation (AED). Information on topics such as stroke, cardiac arrest, Combi tube, and special resuscitation situations also included.
